- A girl that lives on a farm finds a monster in the pigsty. As she is unable to domesticate or enslave the monster, the two form a strange relationship, as the monster unravels the power hierarchy on the farm and in society to the girl, and helps the girl become a monster herself.

By capturing human movements and voices and applying these to non-human characters, Ullman questions the grounds on which value and sentience are prescribed, why one life is more valuable than another, and what it means to be human.
