- A ROM-COM SATIRE. Hazel Brown, ‘Squirrel Ranger’, has one role in life: to care for the fauna and flora on the quaint Nutworth Island, just off the English coast. When Guy, a handsome property developer, arrives to buy it, Hazel believes she can woo him, rom-com style, and save the day. As her amorous advances fail to land she resorts to ever more darkly comic methods in order to protect her home.
