Un groupe d’amis artistes, dans l’attente d’une tournée, se retrouve coincé dans une maison familiale, leur van étant tombé en panne.
Dans cet espace clos où le temps semble s’étirer, la vie se met en place autour des répétitions indispensables pour la pièce de Tchekhov qu’il est prévu de jouer, et d’inévitables questionnements sur le sens de la vie, du rapport au travail et à l’amour.
D’escapades en rencontres imprévues, les liens se resserrent au sein de la troupe qui célèbre la vie lors d’un concert improvisé, d’un anniversaire joyeusement endiablé, montrant que la plus belle des utopies se construit bien au présent. Une nouvelle ère peut alors commencer.

In this enclosed space where time seems to stretch, life takes shape around the essential rehearsals for the Chekhov play that is to be performed, and the inevitable questioning of the meaning of life, the relationship to work and to love.
From escapades to unforeseen encounters, the bonds are strengthened within the troupe, which celebrates life during an improvised concert and a joyous birthday party, showing that the most beautiful of utopias is built in the present.
