- Little Clara and Zoe are sisters living with their mother Felicia in an old wooden house. After discovering an ant infestation in the girls' display case, an exterminator arrives at the house. Noticing a budding attraction between her mother and the exterminator, Zoe tries to drive the man away by making little Clara believe that he wants to turn their mother into a mermaid by making her drink the ant poison. Afraid of losing her mother, Clara decides she must become a mermaid too.
