A boiling weekend in Athens, Greece. STEPHANOS is working out. His siblings are reading fairytales. Their mother is putting on make up. LUCY, the dog, is sick. Following a fight between Stephanos and the mother, the children are left home alone fully indulged in the lazy, summer mood. The mother gets killed minutes after she’s gone, listening to Bowie while the kids order pizza. The phone keeps ringing and remains unanswered as Stephanos has ordered. What will change utterly the condition will be Lucy’s death. Crying at the dog’s funeral, the children do not know that they will be soon attending the most traumatic funeral of their lifetime, their mother’s. Stephanos forcefully, becomes a man.
