Dascha Dauenhauer began playing the piano at the age of five and studied composition at the Moscow Conservatory. At eleven, she became a student in Berlin, held concerts featuring her own works and subsequently received a diploma in music theory and a master’s degree in film music. She is a multi-award-winning composer and producer of film music, including for "Jibril" (Panorama, 2018), "Glück" (Bliss, Panorama, 2021), "Evolution" (Cannes premiere in 2021), "Golda "(Berlinale Special Gala, 2023), "Der Schwarm" (The Swarm, Berlinale Series, 2023), "Tatami" (Orizzonti Venice, 2023 ) and "Berlin Alexanderplatz" (Competition, 2020), for which she won a German Film Award and a European Film Award. In this year’s Berlinale, her work is featuring in "Islands" and "Kein Tier. So Wild". (No Beast. So Fierce.).

Jing Haase holds a master’s degree in film and German language, culture and literature. During and after her time at university, she worked for festivals in many capacities, ranging from driver to programmer and director of the Aarhus Film Festival. In the same period, she also worked in the production department on shorts, feature-length fiction films and documentaries. In 2007, she was appointed head of the Nordisk Panorama Market with a focus on the industry and on the international distribution of Nordic short films and documentaries. In 2017, she moved to Sweden and worked at the Swedish Film Institute for seven years, focusing on the international success of Swedish shorts. Haase is involved in film festivals worldwide as both a host and guest of panel discussions and as a jury member.

Phạm Ngọc Lân was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam. After completing a degree in urban planning, he became a self-taught filmmaker at the age of 27. He is an alumnus of Berlinale Talents in Berlin (2015 and 2018) and Tokyo (2017). He has also participated in SEAFIC x Produire au Sud (2016), Busan APM (2016) and the Cannes L’Atelier (2017). His first documentary short film, "The Story of Ones" (2012), was selected for numerous festivals while his subsequent fiction films "Another City" (2016) and "Blessed Land" (2019) both premiered in Berlinale Shorts. His debut feature film, "Cu Li Never Cries", celebrated its world premiere in the 2024 Panorama and received the GWFF Best First Feature Award, among many other accolades.
