Nadja Lischewski studied communication and political science and psychology (M.A.). She worked as a producer of documentaries for ARD, ZDF, arte and others. Since 2019, she is a project manager in the film industry department of Deutsche Welle Akademie where she is in charge of various film projects in South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Morocco to strengthen local film industries through capacity building and to promote the freedom of expression.

Since 2018, Sigrun Neisen has been the head of projects in the film industry department of the Deutsche Welle Akademie, where she is responsible for the supervision of projects and strategic developments. Their aim is to strengthen local film industries through capacity building and the promotion of freedom of expression. Previously she has been the project manager in the Asia and Europe division of the Deutsche Welle Akademie and producer and programme manager for RTL, UFA and others.

After being the head of on air and creative director of MTV Networks Europe/Nickelodeon and Comedy Central in London and Berlin, Thomas Sabel has worked as a freelance director/producer and creative director of one/one-studio since 2007. He is a project manager at Deutsche Welle Akademie in the film industry department and is responsible for country studies and inter-divisional projects with a regional focus on Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Latin America, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.

Rabea Koss is the Communications Director of Berlin-based global project Little Sun, founded by world-renowned artist Olafur Eliasson. Launched in 2012 at London’s Tate Modern, Little Sun brings clean, reliable, affordable energy to the 1.1 billion people in the world living without electricity while raising awareness for energy access and climate action worldwide through school workshops, artistic activities and creative campaigns. She also serves as spokesperson for Klimanotstand Berlin, a local citizen’s initiative which led to Berlin recognizing the climate emergency in December 2019.

Susanne is the Project Manager at Little Sun Foundation. After being a Little Sun representative in South Africa for several years, Susanne has recently joined the Little Sun team in Berlin to look after the foundation’s impact projects in Africa. She works together with local partners to bring solar light and phone charging to refugee camps and to students in areas with no reliable power.

Dorothee Wenner is a filmmaker, film curator and writer based in Berlin. She serves as delegate to Berlin International Film Festival for the Subsahara-Africa region, as external curator at Humboldt Forum for film/cinema and others. Since inception in 2005, Dorothee belongs to the jury of Lagos based African Movie Academy Awards. Her latest work as a filmmaker was the web-series "Kinshasa Collection".
