Berlinale Talents: Opening Ceremony

It’s time to start! Berlinale Talents' very own Nikola Joetze, Florian Weghorn, and their team are thrilled to welcome you to Berlin for a week of films, discussions, and life-changing encounters. Once again, 202 among the world’s brightest filmmakers and creatives have flocked to Berlin from all corners of the world—a staggering 68 countries!—bringing with them a treasure trove of experiences, skills, and different perspectives. Following an address by Berlinale Executive Director Mariette Rissenbeek and HAU Hebbel am Ufer Artistic and Managing Director Annemie Vanackere, we will go over the programme, introduce some of our most anticipated guests and events, and finally invite you to watch some excerpts from films made by our real stars: you, the Talents!
