World Cinema Fund Day

Time
Feb 22nd 2023
Location
HAU2

The World Cinema Fund is an initiative of the German Federal Cultural Foundation and the Berlin International Film Festival, in cooperation with the German Federal Foreign Office, Creative Europe MEDIA and with further support by the Goethe-Institut.

For the last 15 years, the World Cinema Fund has been championing cultural diversity, cooperations, sustainable development, and the promotion of cinema in regions where film infrastructure is underdeveloped. For the first time in partnership with Berlinale Talents, the World Cinema Fund Day invites Talents and film lovers at large all to reflect on new strategies, projects and the artists behind. This year, the event will feature a special focus on Iranian cinema, a round with funding experts on their latest and strongest support schemes for filmmakers in times of crisis, and more from recently supported WCF films selected for this year's Berlinale.

Limited capacity. RSVP to worldcinemafund@berlinale.de
