Telefilm Canada

Telefilm Canada is a Crown corporation reporting to Canada’s federal government through the Minister of Canadian Heritage. As co-production administrator, Telefilm makes recommendations to the Minister of Canadian Heritage regarding the certification of audiovisual treaty co-productions. Headquartered in Montreal, Telefilm Canada works to finance, develop, and promote the Canadian audiovisual industry of today and tomorrow, bringing Canadian creativity to the world.

Telefilm Canada is a long-term partner of Berlinale Talents and has supported our networking events for many years. In previous years, Telefilm hosted one of our Talents Tanks, our inspiring networking and design thinking format. For the 2024 edition, we were happy to welcome Telefilm back to join us once more, this time hosting one of our exciting networking events, Talents Circles. The Talents Circles seek to connect our talented filmmakers with leading figures and funding institutions in the industry. Each session consists of a series of small discussion groups, each led by experts selected together with our partners. We look forward to working together again in the upcoming edition in 2025.
