Goethe-Institut
The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institution with offices worldwide. Alongside FIPRESCI, the Goethe-Institut is the official partner of Talent Press, a Berlinale Talents programme which invites eight film critics to the festival to cover current trends in world cinema and to hone their writing. Their insights are then published on the Talent Press, FIPRESCI and Goethe-Institut websites.
The Goethe-Institut’s offices in Argentina, Japan, Lebanon, and Mexico are key partners of the Talents International initiatives in those countries. They also specifically support Talent Press activities in Buenos Aires, Guadalajara, Sarajevo and at Talent Press Rio - along with the collaboration between Talents Buenos Aires and Kinoscope called NOW TALENT PRESS.
The Goethe-Institut also supports Berlinale Talents podcast series "Berlinale's House of Talents!" Listen now to the first six episodes which cover an exciting range of topics from working with Wes Anderson on creating his visionary sets, to discussing dreams with Apichatpong Weerasethakul or exploring coming of age with Céline Sciamma.
