Talents Alumni at Festival des Cannes 2025

It's time for the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival and, as always, we've been busy researching the selection for Berlinale Talents alumni! We are very pleased to share our findings - an incredible 60 Talents alumni who have worked on 35 films in Official Selection, including one which was developed by writer & director Simón Mesa Soto at our Script Station in 2023, "A Poet" in Un Certain Regard.

In the parallel sections, there are a further 15 alumni with work across 10 films selected for Quinzaine Des Cinéastes, two of which were also developed at our Talents Labs. The Semaine de la Critique selection boasts 18 alumni across 10 films, including one developed at our Script Station in 2020. Across ACID, La Fabrique and Marché du Film, there are an additional 12 alumni attached to nine films being presented.

That brings our total to an incredible 105 Berlinale Talents alumni representing across official and parallel selections, having contributed to 64 films being presented during the festival.
