Holger Stern

Holger Stern is the head of the fiction department at ZDF/ARTE. As a commissioning editor, he oversaw various co-productions supported by ZDF/ARTE; such as: “Triangle of Sadness”, “Holy Spider”, “Fallen Leaves”, “Quo Vadis, Aida?”, “Uncle Boonmee, who can recall his past lives”, “Le Quattro Volte”; etc.
Prior to his employment at ZDF/ ARTE he worked for the German film-production and -distribution company Kinowelt, directed several documentaries for German TV-stations and published articles on a variety of film-related subjects.
He studied at Berlin University, LMU Munich and the “Université Paris III”.
