Albert Serra

Albert Serra is a Spanish director. His films “Honour of the Knights,” (2006) “Birdsong,” (2008) “The Death of Louis XIV,” (2016) “Liberté” (2019) and “Pacifiction” (2022) all screened at the Cannes Film Festival, of which the latter was awarded two Césars, three Prix Lumières and three Premis Gaudí, among others. In 2012, Serra's 101-hour work “Els tres porquets” was shown at dOCUMENTA (13) and three years later his project “Singularity” at the Venice Biennale.
