Mark Peranson

Mark Peranson is a programmer, writer, and filmmaker. He was head of programming for the Locarno Film Festival from 2013 to 2018. From 2001 to 2018 he was a programming associate for the Vancouver International Film Festival. Peranson is also the founder, editor, and publisher of “Cinema Scope” magazine. His films as a director include WAITING FOR SANCHO and LA ÚLTIMA PELÍCULA. He has acted in films such as BIRDSONG and ON THE BEACH AT NIGHT ALONE.
