Angélica Perea

Angélica Perea was born in 1977 in Bogotá, Colombia. She started her career as a production designer and as a fine artist. She has worked as an art director on the Colombian films THE WIND JOURNEYS, EMBRACE OF THE SERPENT and BIRDS OF PASSAGE. Her creative line of inquiry is more and more focused on armed conflict and cultures in danger of extinction. Her latest work as a production designer was on MEMORIA, the new film by Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
