Rob Walker

Rob Walker is a freelance Re-recording Mixer and Sound Designer with over 20 years’ experience in independent film and TV. He is mostly known for edgy international projects including hybrids of cinema, drama, documentary and art installation. He worked for four years on the controversial ‘DAU’ project which produced 13 films including DAU.Degeneration and DAU.Natasha (Berlinale 2020). Recent credits include THE WORKS AND DAYS OF TAYOKO SHIOJIRI which won Best Film at Berlinale Encounters 2020, BANK JOB a documentary about blowing up £1 million of debt and Ben Russell’s INVISIBLE MOUNTAIN. From 2018 to 2021, he was the Chair of AMPS (The Association of Motion Picture Sound) leading the industry organisation which represents film and TV sound professionals based in the UK.
