Manuel Abramovich

Manuel Abramovich is an artist, filmmaker and cinematographer. His films have screened at the Berlinale, Venice, MoMA Doc Fortnight, IDFA and Cinéma du Réel, among other events. His short THE QUEEN (2013) received more than 50 international awards. SOLDIER (2017), his second feature, premiered at Berlinale Generation. His latest work, BLUE BOY, won the Silver Bear at the 2019 Berlinale Shorts Competition and recently received a German Short Film Award. He attended Berlinale Talents in 2012 and is currently a fellow of the DAAD-Artists-in-Berlin Programme.
