Jantje Friese

Jantje Friese is a screenplay writer and showrunner. After studying Production and Media Business at the University of Television and Film Munich, she became a producer at Made in Munich and Neue Sentimental Film Berlin, supervising the production of commercials. She then produced Baran bo Odar’s feature debut THE SILENCE (2010). After that, she moved into writing and has developed projects for companies in LA and London. She and Odar co-wrote the screenplay for WHO AM I (2014), which earned six German Film Award nominations including Best Screenplay.
