Jasmila Žbanić

Bosnian filmmaker Jasmila Žbanić has been a regular guest at the Berlin International Film Festival, this time returning as a member of the International Jury. Her first feature film GRBAVICA won the 2006 Golden Bear at the Berlinale, before going on to win awards at many other festivals. Most recently, her film QUO VADIS, AIDA? was chosen by Bosnia and Herzegovina as their submission for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards in 2021.
