19 Alumni Nominated for European Film Awards 2017

Berlinale Talents alumni have been nominated in the Best Film, Comedy, Discovery, Documentary, Animation and Shorts categories.

This weekend, the European Film Awards will take place in Berlin. We're excited to announce that a total of 17 films by 19 former Talents are nominated: two titles for European Film (one of which is also nominated for European Comedy), three for European Discovery, three for European Documentary, one for European Animation and eight for European Short Film.

"Summer 1993," which was selected for our 2015 Script Station and 2016 Talent Project Market, is nominated for the European Discovery FIPRESCI Prize. It was made by three Talents alumnae, director Carla Simón, producer Valerie Delpierre and producer Maria Zamora.

The awards ceremony takes place on Saturday, December 9 and can be streamed online at www.europeanfilmawards.eu. We'll be rooting for everyone!
