Yusuke Kinoshita was born in Tokyo 1981, raised in Tokyo and Australia. During studying at Waseda University, independent film, “Bird Cage,” received the prizes at the Pia Film Festival. His first feature film, “Water Flower” premiered at 2006 Berlin International Film Festival. In 2018, he directed short film”Mischievous Alliance” in omnibus film “Ten Years Japan”, executive produced by Hirokazu Kore-eda. International project with Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan, shown in Busan International Film Festival and released in theaters abroad.
