A costarican screenwriter and filmmaker, a psychiatrist with a Master degree in Directing and Producing Digital Film (University of La Laguna, Spain), who also took film directing courses (Sundance Collab) and screenwriting courses (New York Film Academy) and completed the Professional Program in Producing at UCLA. His short film, "Insomnia", was shown in several film festivals, receiving many awards for best film, best director, and writing. His short, “Sudden Death”, was selected in film festivals such as HBO New York Latino, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles and The Academy Latinx Event at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, NewFilmmakers New York and many others. His last short film script "Blood and ash" has been a finalist in many screenplay competitions like ScreenCraft, WeScreenplay, BlueCat, TSL, LA Shorts, HollyShorts and many others. It won the International Grand Prize Award at the 37th Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival Screenplay Competition. It is the proof of concept of his first feature screenplay: also named "Blood and Ash", a fiction feature film project that won the Filmmarket Hub incentive at the 8th LabGuion (Colombia) and was selected by Stowe Story Labs for its Sidewalk Narrative Lab and the Script Studio for the Guadalajara Talents, the Berlinale talents at Guadalajara International Film Festival.
