Sound Studio

The Sound Studio invites Talents to engage in collective jam sessions driven by their specific cultural backgrounds, encouraging sound designers and composers to reflect on their practices.

The Talents benefit from a one-day workshop in one of Berlin’s most exciting studio and recording spaces, led by seasoned mentors and musicians, during which they compile and work with a sound library, composed of recordings from their hometowns. This exploration of musical roots should lead to a renewed appreciation of how music and sound modulate film.

We all came to the workshop with our own eclectic experiences in the film world. This was a fantastic occasion to collectively create, free from the usual restrictions.
