This year, Talents Tokyo will bring its 15 participants together with the following experts: Sri Lankan director Vimukthi Jayasundara, Thai producer Raymond Phathanavirangoon, French world sales agent Juliette Schrameck, and Berlinale Talents Programme Manager Florian Weghorn. Under their guidance, participants will each have the chance to present their own project.
In addition, the Next Masters Programme, which is open to Talents Tokyo alumni, has selected nine projects to participate this year. They are competing for a Project Development Fund grant (worth up to 1 million JPY) and an International Promotion Fund grant (worth up to 500,000 JPY).

Directors and producers from Brunei, Cambodia, China, China Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China Macao Special Administrative Region, East-Timor, Indonesia, Japan, Laos People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Talents Tokyo is organised by the Talents Tokyo Organising Committee (TOKYO FILMeX) in cooperation with Berlinale Talents and the Goethe-Institut Tokyo.
