Pavel Jech

Professor Pavel Jech is the chair of the Film Division at Chapman University in California. He is also a screenwriting advisor for Berlinale Talents, Sundance Labs, the Mediterranean Film Institute and the Midpoint Centre. He lectures internationally, and his manual “The Seven Minute Screenplay” is used by film students around the world. Most recently, he was a screenwriter and script editor for the TV series THE LYNCHING (2018), a Czech TV / ARTE co-production.

General Jeff was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, California, USA. He has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) since 1995 and is a West Coast hip-hop pioneer who has worked with Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and others. For 12 years, he has been a community activist in Skid Row, the homeless capital of America.

Anja Joos

Anja Joos is the managing director of the agency Spielkind Berlin, where she represents German and international actors and directors. After working for over ten years in various areas of the film industry, she founded Anja Joos Management in 2009, which merged with Spielkind in 2017. She coordinated the Acting Studio at Berlinale Talents from 2010 until 2018.

Vesna Jovanoska

As a producer, director and script consultant, Vesna Jovanoska has worked with major partners, including Warner Bros., Constantin Films, Highlight Communication AG, 20th Century Fox and many others. Her films have not only attracted top German actors such as Til Schweiger but have also starred award-winning actors such as Joseph Fiennes, Vera Farmiga, Adrian Lester, David Wenham, and many others.

Alex Jovanoski

Alex Jovanoski is a German film director. Inspired by Takeshi Kitano’s DOLLS, he moved to Tokyo at the age of 19 to work on his film ideas for two years. He also worked as an actor and writer there. After Japan, he studied at the University of Cologne and graduated with a law degree, his mind still set on his film projects. His debut HEY, which he wrote and directed, won the Moondance International Film Festival’s Best Feature and Audience Award. He has written and directed six films in the last four years.
