I love trying to show simple and everyday life things with a different perspective, in a way that we never saw before. Reality inspires me. Gustavo Rondón Córdova was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1977. He holds a communications degree from the Central University of Venezuela as well as a film directing degree from the Academy of Interpretative Arts (FAMU), in Prague, Czech Republic. He has writ- ten, directed and edited six short films that have been shown at festivals, including in Berlin, Cannes, Biarritz, Toulouse and Tribeca. His most recent short film, NOSTALGIA was selected for Berlinale Shorts 2012 and was bought by the French-German broadcaster Arte. His current project THE FAMILY was selected at the Produire Au Sud Andean Work- shop, Ibermedia Project Development Workshop, Oaxaca Screenwriters Lab, Berlinale Talent Project Market 2014, and La Fabrique des Cinemas du Monde in Cannes 2014. In 2017 "The family" is finished and ready to launch worldwide.
