- A biography of one of the important choreographers in the world today – Ohad Naharin, the artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company.
The film – shot over 7 years in the US, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Holland, and Israel ,and using rare archive materials moves on two timelines, past and present, and reveals the stations of Ohad’s life, starting a dance career at 22, working with the greatest choreographers of the previous century such as Martha Graham and Maurice Bejart, and creating a new movement language (Gaga). At the same time, we expose his unique work methods, and are allowed a rare opportunity to enter his studio, where his extraordinary work is created in a closed, isolated laboratory.
